St Mary's Church, Binsted, West Sussex.
This pretty little 12th century church in Binsted set in a lovely rural location in West Sussex.
The Grade II listed church was restored in 1868 by Thomas Graham Jackson. It has a lovely Norman font and a ‘Cosmati pavement’ in the chancel in imitation of mediaeval Italian work. Some of the 12th-century wall paintings remain.
Set in a wonderfully peaceful part of West Sussex this church was a delight to fly around. It looked extra nice with the shadows cast by the setting sun. TOAL was from the road that runs along side the church.
